About
Chris Browne
FOUNDER & PHYSIOKia ora! I'm Chris, the physiotherapist behind Everybody Physio.
My approach is practical, evidence-based, and focused on helping you understand your body and take an active role in your recovery. Together, we’ll identify what’s contributing to your pain, develop a treatment plan that works for you, and build strategies that go beyond short-term relief.
I combine hands-on physiotherapy, targeted exercise, and practical education so you understand your injury, know what to do next, and feel confident moving forward.
With years of experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, a broad clinical skill set, and a caring, down-to-earth approach, my goal is to help you build strength, resilience, and confidence in your body, so you can return to the activities you enjoy and keep moving well for the long term.
Outside the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors, and staying active through strength training. I’m passionate about community and enjoy being involved locally, while continuing to develop my own performance and wellbeing. These values naturally shape my approach as a physiotherapist — supportive, patient, and focused on helping people make steady, meaningful progress.
FAQ

ACC (Accident Compensation Corporation) is New Zealand’s no-fault injury compensation scheme. It provides cover for people who are injured in an accident, regardless of who was at fault or what they were doing when the injury occurred.
ACC covers injuries that happen in many situations, including at home, at work, on the road, or while participating in sport and recreation. ACC can contribute towards the cost of treatment and other support to help you recover and return to everyday life.
If you have an injury from an accident, we can assess and determine whether it is likely to be covered by ACC, and help you complete the necessary claim paperwork.
If needed, we can also refer you for X-rays or ultrasound imaging to help assess your injury and guide your treatment.

ACC helps cover part of your treatment costs, but you’ll still need to pay a co-payment at each appointment. Our current fees are listed on the website, so you’ll know what to expect before your appointment.
-
Absolutely! You don’t need a GP referral to see a physio.
We’re ACC registered, so we can arrange your ACC claim and take care of the necessary paperwork during your first appointment. After your assessment, we’ll also let you know if we think it would be a good idea to see your GP.

Depending on your level and scope of policy coverage, some or all of your appointment payments may be reimbursed.
We have access to South Cross online claim portal and can check your coverage at your appointment. In most cases, where coverage is applicable we can process a claim at your visit. Alternatively, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to clarify your level of coverage.
